- OTP is the most important key: Whether it’s a bank or any other service, never share your OTP with anyone. Banks never ask for your OTP over the phone.
- Stay away from unknown links: Do not click on links related to “gifts” or “electricity bills” that you receive on WhatsApp or via SMS. These links can give hackers complete control of your phone.
- Two-Step Verification: Always keep Two-Step Verification enabled on your WhatsApp, Instagram, and Google accounts. This will prevent anyone from logging in even if they know your password.
- Avoid using public Wi-Fi: Never conduct bank transactions using free Wi-Fi at railway stations or malls. Hackers monitor such networks.
